KPS is prominent player in the field of design, manufacturing, and maintenance of automatic sampling systems, analyzer systems and filter/blender equipment for the oil and gas industry. A large number of our installed automatic crude oil sampling systems are used to verify the bill of lading, for total verifications worth billions of US Dollars annually. Innovative and customer-focused, with a team of experts who understand problems and applications for services such as custody transfers, refinery processes and filtration of hydrocarbons. With a team of 25 in total, KPS has built a very strong reputation for quality in Europe and the Middle East.

KPS has a dominant market share in Europe and is looking to further expand its business in the Middle East. Initial success in this area has been achieved by the appointment of preferred vendor for Saudi Aramco and the award of several projects in Oman and the UAE. To further strengthen our position in the Middle East we are looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager.

Daily activities:
  • Initiating contacts with (prospective) clients, conducting visits, identifying market opportunities and new strategies, establishing and maintaining a total market overview in the Middle East
  • Influencing project specification in the early stage of the project
  • Responsible for finalizing sales agreements; including negotiations with customers about prices, product specifications, delivery and payment terms, the drawing up and conclusion of contracts and conditions, providing advice about financing possibilities, and sharing this knowledge with the internal organization;
  • Monitoring the handling of new orders; organizing and drawing up contract specifications, discussing these documents with the designated project engineers, monitoring the production progress and the timely identification of any abnormalities
  • Much will depend on your ability to react quickly to internal and external challenges and opportunities, confidently juggling priorities and targets
Your Profile:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant Sales experience in the capital goods industry
    (preferably in Oil & Gas sector)
  • Minimum BSc degree in Engineering (preferred) and/or Business Administration
  • Excellent command of the English language in word and writing, Dutch is a plus
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Powers of persuasion and problemsolving
  • Eagerness to learn, an entrepreneurial mindset and people management skills
  • Willingness to dive into the product of KPS and be our ambassador
  • In possession of a valid EU work visa
